Over the past two years Barb has cared for our horses when we’ve been out of town. She has proven herself to be knowledgeable, trustworthy, and talented. Having Barb care for our horses has improved the quality of our lives, since we can travel knowing how well our horses are being attended to. Each time, she has invariably impressed us with her attentiveness and attention to detail. She has a keen eye and is passionate about what she does. Barb has also helped me assess horses we’ve had on a trial basis, for suitability as a trail mount for beginner riders. She knew exactly how to test these geldings and approached the task with an impressive professionalism. Barb has been working with our daughter teaching her horseback riding lessons for the last three years. During those lessons, Barb has been absolutely amazing! She goes above and beyond every time. When we first started lessons, our daughter was young and weak with her left and right. Barb would always take that into consideration and put colors wrapped around her arms and legs to help her distinguish her right and left, always making it fun. Barb always sets up the arena with many plans, taking into consideration our daughters young age and inexperience with the horse. Her enthusiasm for working with the horse and our daughter has always made the lessons fun, and as a result, our daughter begs for continuous lessons. I would highly recommend Barb to anyone whose children are looking to have horseback riding lessons as she has a great demeanor with the kids and is very professional and articulate with us as parents.
